Press Releases are normally issued through the Mathematics Promotion Unit (MPU) which is jointly funded by the IMA and the London Mathematical Society (LMS) and is based at De Morgan House in London.

The MPU provides a voice for the UK mathematics community and to make it easier for the press to write interesting - and accurate
- articles about the subject.
