Conference Proceedings
The 11th International Conference on Modelling in Industrial Maintenance and Reliability (MIMAR) will take place virtually via Zoom from 29 June – 1 July 2021. This event is the premier maintenance and reliability modelling conference in the UK and builds upon a very successful series of previous conferences. It is an excellent international forum for disseminating information on the state-of-the-art research, theories and practices in maintenance and reliability modelling and offers a platform for connecting researchers and practitioners from around the world.
The scope of the conference includes:
- Engineering Economy and Cost Analysis
- Life cycle/performance analysis
- Maintenance and Reliability Modelling
- Prognostics and Health Management
- Reliability and Maintenance Engineering
- Safety, Security and Risk Management
- Spare Parts Supply Chain Management
- Warranty Management and Data Analysis
Invited Speakers, Talk Titles and Abstracts:
Prof. Anne Barros (CentraleSupélec, France) – ‘Cyber Physical Systems Analysis: what can be the contributions from the “MIMAR community”?’
Prof. Rommert Dekker (Erasmus School of Economics, Netherlands) – ‘An overview of optimisation models for offshore windfarm maintenance’
Prof. Benoît Iung (Université de Lorraine, France) – ‘New Maintenance Orientation in The Frame of Industry of The Future: Challenges and Opportunities Brought by Data Analysis’.
Full Abstracts for each speaker can be found here.
Call for Papers
The Call for Papers for this event is now closed.
Publication
Proceeding Submissions are now closed.
Special Issue: delegates are invited to submit papers to a Special Issue on “Advanced Maintenance Modelling for Industrial Systems” of Journal of Risk and Reliability: Proceedings of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers Part O, guest edited by the conference chairs. Papers will be subject to the standard peer review processes of the journal. A paper submitted to the Special Issue cannot be the same as a paper published in the conference proceedings. Further information about this can be found at the SAGE Journals website.
Prizes
Prizes will be awarded at the conference for paper submissions. IMechE Safety and Reliability Group will be providing a prize for Best Paper by Young Professional. SaRS will be providing a prize for Best Practical Paper.
