The IMA Leslie Fox Prize for Numerical Analysis is a biennial prize established in 1985 by the IMA in honour of mathematician Leslie Fox (1918-1992). Leslie Fox founded the Oxford University Computing Laboratory in 1957 and was the Professor of Numerical Analysis at Oxford from 1963 to 1983. He was a distinguished researcher in numerical linear algebra and differential equations and was an active member of the IMA from its beginnings.

The event will be held online via Zoom on 21 June and will include talks from the five finalists, along with networking during the breaks. The winner will be announced at the end of the day.
