IMA President Dr Heather Tewkesbury CMath FIMA added:

“Huge congratulations to the inaugural cohort of Fellows of the Academy for Mathematical Sciences!

Your selection marks not merely a recognition of individual excellence, but the establishment of a vital new pillar for our mathematical community, the full potential of which is realised only when brilliant minds come together with the energy and commitment that you have pledged to the Academy. Each of you brings distinguished achievements and unique perspectives to this fellowship, and together, the ability to demonstrate mathematics’ essential role in addressing the complex challenges of our time.

As the inaugural cohort, you establish the foundation upon which the Academy for Mathematical Sciences will build its reputation and its impact. The vision you enact will shape the mathematical sciences of the future and the IMA is proud to be part of that.”

We look forward to seeing the Academy continue to develop in the months and years ahead as it further strengthens the voice and impact of the mathematical sciences.
