Growing student numbers in mathematical sciences lead to significant challenges for teaching staff in particular when students are going through the transition from school to university education. This workshop aimed to bring together staff to discuss key issues and share ideas and good practice.
The workshop was jointly organised by the Department of Statistics and the Mathematics Institute and attended by 34 participants from a range of institutions including amongst others Cardiff University, University of Chester, LSE, The Open University, UCL and the
University of Warwick.
