Abstract
Life and maths mirror each other in more ways than you think – every day starts with the potential for surprises, challenges and puzzles to be solved, where the road less travelled often takes you on adventures that enthrall and entertain.
Often, the focus is on areas where the creative side of maths underpins the science and technology that drives our digitally connected everyday lives. However, as we’ve all spent time apart in 2020, as we start to come back together how does maths connects us with the “real” world – with our food, homes and communities and how can maths help us solve the challenges and puzzles we face together?
