Mathematics: Your Future, An Invitation to Schools and Colleges
Do you teach AS Mathematics, A2 Mathematics or Further Mathematics? If so, you are invited to send a group of up to 10 sixth formers (or AS Year 11 students) to an afternoon event which highlights developments in Mathematics and Computing and shows how Mathematics underpins careers across the STEM Curriculum. There will be a Display of posters and mini‐talks from postgraduate students as well as from more established members of universities’ staff and businesses in the North West. As well as the posters there will be 25mins presentations from researchers who need mathematics in their daily work. The aim is to show Mathematics in the context of Science, Technology, Engineering as well as a discipline in its own right.
