Welcome to the IMA Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) event sponsored by the Early Career Mathematicians (ECM) Committee. In this event, we will provide a safe environment for ECMs to discuss issues related to EDI with members from our D&I Working Group. The event is split into two parts: the first is a keynote presentation by Dr Howard Haughton (Holistic Risk Solutions Ltd, King’s College London), the second is a set of breakout rooms on EDI topics, see below for more details. We let you, the participants, choose which breakout room you would like to join, and you are free to roam to others throughout the session. The titles given are indicative of the topic of discussion, but this may change as the conversation develops throughout the session. As well as these discussions, other ECM committee members, D&I Working Group members, and members of the IMA Council will be there to answer questions on what they do.
