European Mathematical Society (EMS)
The EMS is a learned society representing mathematicians throughout Europe. It promotes the development of all aspects of mathematics in Europe, in particular mathematical research, relations of mathematics to society, relations to European institutions, and mathematical education.
The IMA is a corporate member of the EMS which means IMA members can join the EMS with a 50% discount off the regular rate. You can join or renew your membership for EMS online.
European Mechanics Society (Euromech)
Members of the IMA are offered a free affiliated membership of the Euromech. Euromech’s remit is to promote the development of mechanics as a fundamental branch of science and engineering in Europe. It was founded in 1964 by George Batchelor and Dietrich Küchemann. Its activities include the funding and organisation of colloquia (topical workshops), key European conferences and the award of fellowships and prizes.

Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM)
SIAM is a US-based international community of over 14,000 individual members. Almost 500 academic, manufacturing, research and development, service and consulting organizations, government, and military organizations worldwide are institutional members.
SIAM and the IMA have entered into a reciprocal agreement whereby individual members in one society are eligible for a discounted membership in the other.
