Share your views – proto-Academy for Mathematical Sciences Consultation Period
The Academy for the Mathematical Sciences, currently in its “proto-Academy” set-up phase, has announced the publication of a new document which contains an update on progress to date and a set of questions. It is now seeking your views on the proposals for its future structure and focus to inform the next steps and identify initial priorities for the Academy’s activities.
Consultation Period Overview
The Consultation Period is being held from 26 April to 30 June 2023. As part of this:
1.The Academy published a Progress Update and Consultation Document on 26 April and a Summary document on its website. The document and webpages have been partitioned to make it to make it easier to access and respond only those parts that are of interest to you.
2. The Academy has published a list of questions on issues on which it is actively seeking feedback via an online questionnaire so you can choose to answer only the questions on aspects of the Academy’s development that are of interest to you.
3. There will be four online Consultation events during May, kindly hosted by the International Centre for the Mathematical Sciences (ICMS), on the following dates:
Event 1: Thursday 4 May, 10am – 12 midday
Event 2: Tuesday 16 May, 4pm – 5pm
Event 3: Wednesday 17 May, 2pm – 4pm
Event 4: Wednesday 24 May, 4pm – 5pm
