The Institute of Mathematics and its Applications would like to invite you to a ½ day workshop on 20th November 09:30-12:30 to help you answer these questions. Let us take you through what CMath is, its importance to you, how you can go about obtaining CMath through the personal journeys of our panel. Let us also answer your specific questions about CMath and achieving it as well as helping you to start the process.
The Chartered Mathematician (CMath) designation represents high levels of professionalism and competence in mathematics. It is awarded by the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications to practicing professional mathematicians who demonstrate, as well as their professional status and competence, a commitment to keep pace with advancing knowledge in mathematics and its applications. We also have a Course Accreditation scheme that accredits university degree courses from which all its graduates will meet the relevant educational requirements for the Chartered Mathematician (CMath) designation. The scheme is available to approved courses validated by higher education providers in the United Kingdom to enable graduates to readily demonstrate the attainment of educational requirements for professional registration.
