On 24 June 2025 the South West and Wales Branch of the IMA is hosting an evening event celebrating the best undergraduate mathematics projects from students studying at universities in the region. Each of the Universities of Plymouth, Cardiff, Bristol, The West of England, and Bath shall nominate a single student who achieved the highest mark in their final year undergraduate mathematics project to present a short lecture on their project.
The branch invites you to what should hopefully be a very pleasant, enjoyable, and insightful evening, followed by a presentation of special recognition certifications from the IMA to the students.
This event is free to attend, with both members and non-members of the IMA welcome. Tea and coffee will be provided.
Preceding the event at 5:45pm is the South West and Wales Branch Annual General Meeting which all are welcome to attend.
