Higher Education Teaching and Learning Workshop Series 2025/26

The Institute of Mathematics and its Applications, the Royal Statistical Society, and the London Mathematical Society are pleased to announce the return of the Higher Education Teaching and Learning Workshop Series for the 2025/26 academic year.

This series offers an opportunity for higher education mathematical sciences departments to apply for funding to host in-person workshops focused on teaching and learning. While workshops can address themes specific to the hosting department, successful proposals must open their events to the wider mathematical sciences community. The initiative aims to support a diverse range of themes that are both relevant and of interest to other departments within the mathematical sciences. Workshops may focus on a specific topic but should maintain relevance across the spectrum of mathematical sciences programmes.

Key Information

  • Proposals should be submitted online by 23:59 on Monday 8 December 2025.
  • Proposals will be reviewed by the IMA, RSS and LMS, and notification will be made by Friday 14 February 2026.
