Early Career Mathematicians Committee Role
As and when required, the ECM Committee may co-opt non-elected members of the ECM group to get involved and help support the development of the group.
Thomas is currently the Director of Teaching and Learning for the School of Engineering and Physical Science at the University of Lincoln. His role is to positively influence teaching and assessment practice within the School, lead the delivery of the Teaching, Learning and Student Experience Strategy in the School ,and share pedagogical approaches within the University and the sector. He teaches across several mathematics and computer science modules and previously taught mathematics in the FE sector at a vocational college. Thomas holds an MSc Applied Mathematics (by research) degree, for a thesis entitled “The Effects of Stellar Flybys on the Perturbations of Earth’s Orbit”.
