Annual General Meeting of the IMA North West Branch
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the IMA North West branch will take place on Friday 27 May at 6.00pm. The meeting will take place via Zoom. Members located in the North West are welcome to join the meeting, but must register in order to obtain the meeting link.
The AGM will be preceded by a talk by the IMA’s Executive Director Rosalind Azouzi, beginning at 5.00pm.
IMA of the Future: Planning for our next Strategic Review together
Summary: The IMA is due to undertake its next 5-year Strategic Review in 2023. This is a fantastic opportunity given factors such as new hybrid opportunities following the impact of the pandemic on IMA activities. Rosalind Azouzi, recently appointed as Executive Director to the IMA, will outline Council proposals to ensure that Branches and individual members can play a key role in helping to plan the IMA of the future and ensuring we continue to reach all parts of the mathematics community.
