Through the Lens: Insights into Mathematical Textbooks and Mathematical Reading – A talk by Dr Bethany Wollacott

Abstract

In this talk, I will discuss some of my research using eye-tracking technology to investigate the impact of textbook design on students’ mathematical reading. I will situate my work within the wider education literature, suggesting the potential implications for mathematics education and mathematics textbook publishers.

No charge is made to attend meetings; non-IMA members are welcome.

The talk is coordinated locally by Dr Tom Bennison.
