Join us in Liverpool for a fun day of mathematics aimed at year 12 students. This will be useful to anyone studying A-level maths and particularly those thinking of applying for a maths-related degree course.
In the morning there will be a “Mathematical frontiers” lecture showcasing research happening at the University of Liverpool, after which you can try at hand at some exciting maths activities. The afternoon features a careers carousel where you can meet people who use mathematics in a wide variety of jobs, and the grand finale of the day will feature popular mathematician & communicator Katie Steckles.
