Presidential Address 2024
The President, Professor Hannah Fry FIMA, will give her IMA Presidential Address, Making sense of Cancer; Communicating Difficult Statistics to the Public.
Hannah Fry is the IMA President for 2024 to 2025. She is a professor in the mathematics of cities at University College London. Hannah is an author and presenter, who hosts numerous podcasts and television shows, including The Curious Cases of Rutherford & Fry, The Secret Genius of Modern Life and Uncharted with Hannah Fry.
The IMA Presidential Address will begin at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, 26 June 2024 at the University of Greenwich, with registration opening at 6.10 pm.
Further Information: Admission is by advance booking only on a first-come, first-served basis. For those who wish to attend the address only there is no charge. Whilst a payment of £19.50 is required for the reception which follows the address. All attendees must register in advance.
