IMA Foundation
60th anniversary celebrations in 2024.
The IMA announced the intention to establish a designated funding pot to raise funds to support our charitable objectives and public benefit impact as part of our 60th anniversary celebrations in 2024.
It is hoped that a designated fund will Help address the absence of an endowment fund within the IMA by establishing designated funds to support future grant-making activities, increase existing public engagement and promotion of mathematics to the next generation, support mathematical research and act as a vehicle for donations.
An oversight committee has been formed, chaired by IMA Past President Chris Linton who will act as a steward of funds raised and work closely with the IMA’s trustees to ensure that funds are used appropriately and in accordance with their intended purpose.
