The mathematical theory and practice of both cryptography and coding underpins the provision of effective security and reliability for data communication, processing, and storage. This twentieth International Conference in an established and successful IMA series on the theme of “Cryptography and Coding” solicits original research papers on all technical aspects of cryptography and coding. Submissions are welcome on any cryptographic or coding-theoretic topic, including, but not limited to: • Foundational theory and mathematics; • The design, proposal, and analysis of cryptographic or coding primitives and protocols • Secure implementation and optimisation in hardware or software; and • Applied aspects of cryptography and coding. Call for Papers Original research papers on all technical aspects of cryptography and coding theory are solicited for submission. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
  • Post-Quantum Cryptography.
  • Construction and Cryptanalysis of Symmetric Cryptographic Primitives.
  • Boolean Functions.
  • Applications of Sequences in Communications.
  • Protocols.
  • Secure Implementation of Cryptographic Primitives.
  • Information Theoretic Security.
  • Applications of Coding Theory to Cryptography/Security.
  • Locally Decodable and Locally Recoverable Codes.
  • Storage Codes.
Instructions for Authors Submissions must not substantially duplicate work that any other author has published elsewhere or has submitted in parallel to a journal or any other conference or workshop with proceedings. Accepted submissions may not appear in any other conference. The IMA-CC chair reserves the right to share information about submissions with other programme committees to detect parallel submissions. Submissions must be anonymous, with no author names, affiliations, acknowledgments, or obvious references. Submissions must be written in English. Submissions should begin with a title, and a short abstract. The main body of submissions should be at most 20 pages, including title, abstract, and bibliography, using Springer’s LNCS LaTeX format with no changes to the style. Submissions may contain any amount of material in clearly marked appendices following the main body of the paper. However, reviewers are not required to read appendices; the paper must be intelligible without them. Submissions must be in PDF format and be submitted electronically to the submission website. Submissions must have page numbers, e.g., using LaTeX command \pagestyle{plain}. We invite “Systematization of Knowledge papers’’. Such papers should have a title that begins with “SoK:” to make it clear to reviewers that this is an SoK paper. SoK papers may be at most 25 pages in the format specified above. Submissions that do not follow these guidelines may be rejected without consideration of their merits. Conflicts of interest We strive to avoid conflicts of interest. Automatic conflicts of interest exist between author and reviewer:
  • if one is or was the thesis advisor to the other, no matter how long ago.
  • if they shared an institutional affiliation within the prior two years.
  • if they published two or more jointly authored works in the last three years; or
  • if they are immediate family members.
Conflicts of interest are not restricted to automatic ones. Others are possible. Authors and reviewers are encouraged to contact the programme chair in case of any uncertainty about corner cases. Submissions for this conference close on 31st July. Accepted papers will be published by Springer in the LNCS series. Consequently, accepted papers must adhere with Springer's Instructions for Authors. One of the authors of an accepted paper is expected to present their work in-person. Exceptions will be made only in the case of specific circumstances, such as visa delays, and emergencies. The corresponding author of each accepted paper, acting on behalf of all the authors of that paper, must complete and sign a Consent-to-Publish form. The corresponding author signing the copyright form should match the corresponding author marked on the paper. Once the files have been sent to Springer, changes relating to the authorship of the papers cannot be made. Please submit your paper here. Call for Posters More details to follow. Her main research interest include symmetric cryptography, Boolean functions and finite fields. Most notably, her work focuses on the analysis of the mathematical properties of the building-blocks in symmetric primitives and on their impact on security. She is also the co-designer of several cryptographic primitives. She was named an IACR Fellow in 2024. The conference will include a panel discussion focussing on post quantum cryptographic systems based on coding theory Panellists: Anne Canteaut- INRIA Dr Stephan Ehlen - Federal Office For Information Security Professor Cong Ling - Imperial College London Dr Rachel Player - Royal Holloway, University of London Organising Committee Elisabeth Oswald, University of Birmingham (Chair) Elizabeth A.
