IMA 16+ Summer Conference 2020

Join us at the University of Leeds for an inspiring and informative day of mathematics aimed at Year 12 students. The day will include interactive workshop sessions, plus engaging Keynote talks from invited speakers and leading mathematicians at the University of Leeds. The day will provide an ideal introduction to university mathematics for anyone studying A-level maths, particularly those thinking of applying for a maths or maths-related degree course. The event will be held in Lecture Theatre B (2.37) in School of Mechanical Engineering.

Fees

This event costs just £5 per Student! Please note that there is a maximum of 8 students per school.

Travel

Bus services 27 and 28 leave from New Station Street, outside the station and stop directly outside the Mechanical Engineering Building. Buses 1 and 56 also leave from the city centre. The building is approximately 30 minutes’ walk from the station. Buses from Guiseley, Ilkley and Otley also stop directly outside the University. Car parking on campus is limited and has to be booked through the University – there is a flat rate cost of £7 per day. Drop-offs are possible around the corner on Clarendon Road, but there is no stopping outside the Mechanical Engineering Building.
