6 November 2013, 7:30pm

Modern Cryptography, Dr Richard Pinch (GCHQ) A joint event with Cirencester Science and Technology Society

Abstract

Cryptography has traditionally been associated with privacy and confidentiality. In the age of the internet, designers and users need to address other issues such as authentication, integrity, repudiation and timeliness. Modern cryptography forms part of the construction of such systems. This talk is open to anyone who is interested. Those attending will be asked for a donation of £3. Students are free
