Online Workshop: Python for A-Level Mathematics and Beyond - Summer 2021

This is a hands‐on workshop and will introduce delegates to the freely available, open‐source and general‐purpose programming language Python ‐ which is one of the most popular programming languages in the world. Python will be used to enhance the teaching and learning of Mathematics at A‐Level and beyond. Delegates need no prior knowledge of programming to benefit from this workshop.

Feedback from January 2021 Workshop

"Dr Lynch reacted immediately to delegates queries, it felt very personal and caring. Dr Lynch is clearly enthusiastic about content and communicated desire for the impact of his course to ripple through the educational system." "All of the content was useful and insightful and the way Stephen explained everything was clear. The pace of the workshop was also great as it allowed you to work at the same pace as him if you wanted, or to work ahead as we had the resources provided." "I am not an experienced Python user so I did find it useful attempting the problems in real time as opposed to just copying `out of a book’."
